How to use:

It clones text from input HTML elements named EXACTLY equals between different pages. Data is stored internally in the browser’s localStorage service, available on every recent browser. Tested on Chrome and Firefox.

First copy that code in the first form bottom

————————————————

<script> //Code in the origin block $(‘input:text’).change(function(){ localStorage.setItem($(this).attr(‘name’), $(this).val()); });</script>
————————————————

Then copy this code on every form you want to “clone” that data

————————————————

<script>
//Code in the destination block
for (var i = 0; i < localStorage.length; i++){
$(“input[name='” + localStorage.key(i) + “‘]”).val( localStorage.getItem(localStorage.key(i)));

}
</script>
————————————————

To use as fixed text

1.- Add <span id=”field name you want to display here”></span>

2.- Add that code

<script>
//Code in the destination block
for (var i = 0; i < localStorage.length; i++){
$(“span[id='” + localStorage.key(i) + “‘]”).val( localStorage.getItem(localStorage.key(i)));

}
</script>
